Naomi writes every guide on this site: what an implant runs by scope and material, how insurance and financing actually work out, and when a patient should walk away from a quote rather than sign it. She is a healthcare cost writer, not a dentist, oral surgeon, or any other clinician, and nothing she publishes replaces a chairside exam or a licensed provider's judgment about your specific mouth. Her job is turning published US fee data into ranges a patient can plan around, and saying plainly when a question needs a dentist rather than a number. She covers dental and healthcare pricing across several sites in the Encore Editorial network.

Chris Terry

Founder and Editor. Chris started Dental Implant Cost as part of the wider Encore Editorial network and holds every guide to the rules on our editorial standards page. He does not research or write the guides himself, that work is Naomi's; his role is oversight: checking the calculator's assumptions, reviewing new figures before they publish, and handling reader corrections that go beyond a routine fix.

One byline, on purpose

Naomi Foster's name is on every guide here because she researched and wrote it herself. We don't publish under a house name and we don't invent a "clinical review board" to make a healthcare cost site sound more authoritative than it is. If a second writer ever joins, their name goes on what they actually wrote, not folded into an anonymous team credit.
